HOW DO I START?

YOUR INITIAL CONSULTATION INVOLVES 3 STEPS:

MEDICAL HISTORY & GOALS 

We review your medical history and discuss your therapy goals, these could be improving the way you look, becoming pain free, or learning how to manage your body to reduce your risk of future pain and injuries.

FULL BODY POSTURE ASSESSMENT 

Using the camera on your phone, tablet or laptop I will examine your posture while standing. You will send me photos of you standing from the front, side and back. The photos will then be digitally analysed from head to toe. I show you where your misalignments are and how they may be affecting your body. I then assess the functional movements of key areas of your body such as your neck, shoulders,  hips, spine, legs and feet.

YOUR UNIQUE POSTURE CORRECTION EXERCISES

Generic stretching and strengthening exercises will not be effective for your specific malalignment.  What you will need is a tailor made approach. I will provide you with a personalised programme of posture correction exercises that target your specific misalignments. I will check that you can do each exercise comfortably and correctly.

 

AFTER YOUR ASSESSMENT

your unique posture correction exercise programme with pictures and easy to follow instructions will be emailed to you. You will also receive access to your exercise regime via an app where you can see how each exercise is performed. A posture report outlining the results of your Posture Assessment will be emailed to you.
